Terms of Use

1. What LittleCloud is

LittleCloud is a personal hobby project: a small set of free apps (like HEARTH and SAGE) built and run by one person, on their own time and at their own expense. It is not a company, not a paid service, and not an enterprise product. It's shared freely and in good faith.

2. Free, and provided “as-is”

LittleCloud is provided free of charge and “as is,” with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. There's no promise that it will work, be available, be accurate, be secure, or that your data will be kept. You use it at your own risk.

3. It can change or stop at any time

This is a project that evolves. Features may change, break, or disappear, and the whole thing may be paused, reset, or shut down at any time, without notice. Don't rely on it for anything critical, and keep your own records of anything important.

4. Please don't enter sensitive information

Only enter information you're comfortable storing on a small personal project. Do not enter anything sensitive, secret, or personally identifiable. For example: home addresses, lock codes or “the key is under the…” notes, account numbers, passwords, financial or medical details, or anything that could identify or endanger you or someone else. 5. Your account and your responsibility

You're responsible for your account and everything entered through it. Keep your password to yourself. Don't use LittleCloud for anything illegal or abusive, don't try to break it or access other people's data, and don't ruin it for others.

6. Accounts may be removed

Accounts and their data may be suspended or deleted at any time, for example for abuse or spam, prolonged inactivity, or simply if the project winds down. There's no guarantee any account or data will persist.

7. Not professional advice

HEARTH's maintenance reminders (and any nudges from other LittleCloud apps) are just helpful prompts, not professional, legal, financial, medical, or safety advice. Don't rely on them for anything that actually matters; use your own judgment and qualified professionals.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the person behind LittleCloud is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) LittleCloud, including lost or exposed data, missed reminders, or downtime. It's a free hobby project, and your use is entirely at your own risk.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continuing to use LittleCloud after a change means you accept the current version.
